Neighborhood partnership: Working with Arbor Lodge

Mallory of Concordia Tree Team and Ginger of the Arbor Lodge Tree Team consult each other on pruning strategies while the limbs are exposed in the winter.

This is just one way that our teams — and neighborhoods — work together.

Recently the Concordia Tree Team put a proposal together for an East Multnomah Soil and Water Conservation District grant opportunity. We could not have done so without a fiscal sponsor, and who stepped up for us? Arbor Lodge Neighborhood Association, and their amazing treasurer, Brian.

We hope to be able to pay back the gift of cooperation through successful grants and Tree Team connections, making both of our urban canopies richer and our communities healthier.
