Jim Gersbach, our Tree Team tree guru and founder, finally plants a special oak tree in the Ainsworth Linear Arboretum marquis location on 33rd and Ainsworth. This tree, and the Tupelo, were planted in late March.

Over several days in March, a crew from the Concordia Tree Team pruned about 50 street trees with permission from the homeowners.

Lori does it all — the hard work of direct stewardship and then shows up to share the word with her neighbors at events. When you see her, say hello (and thanks!).

Great news: in November 2025, Arbnet officially issued an approval for the Ainsworth Linear Arboretum to be accredited as a community arboretum (Level 1).

It was a blast. We planted trees, were inspired by city leaders, and ate cake, all to celebrate the Ainsworth Linear Arboretum.

On October 4th, the Concordia Tree Team invites you to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Ainsworth Linear Arboretum.

Starting in June, many younger Arboretum trees will need a summertime steward to water them regularly. Please sign up and support a tree through the dry season!
