It's Time to Prune Street Trees!

Did you know that you can request a free pruning of your street trees?

Thanks to Portland Parks & Recreation and the Concordia Tree Team, the following common street tree issues can be addressed by trained volunteers in a free pruning:

  • Dead or damaged branches

  • Poor structure

  • Rubbing or crossing branches

  • Sidewalk or street clearance (7 feet high clearance required by City)

  • Sucker growth

Debris will be left in your green bin or in a neat pile near the tree(s), by homeowner request.

If you are interested in signing up and giving permission, Tree Team volunteers will be canvassing the neighborhood.

Or you can complete this online approval form: tinyurl.com/freeprune.
