Watering Campaign Summer 2024: Shout Outs to Neighbors!
Thank you to the Ainsworth and Meek (CLLA) neighbors who cheer on and support the Tree Team as we water trees in this dry summer. Some of you even stepped up to offer a hose, or take over a tree for watering. Thank you for helping the helpers!
Shout out to Sam Balto, for posting a thank-you on Next Door to let everyone know about the watering effort at Meek (Concordia Learning Landscapes Arboretum). Thanks Sam! The next Meek watering will be on Saturday, September 7th, usually from 8:30-10am if anyone from the neighborhood wants to pitch in.
Thank you Julieann on Ainsworth, for graciously allowing us to use her water hose to fill up the cans so we don't have to wheelbarrow them down from our house.
Gratitude to the folks near 32nd place, who came out to say thank you and make their hose available right on the sidewalk, so that I didn’t have to drive home to refill and could keep going.
Appreciation to everyone who pauses to say thank you or honk as they drive by. We really do appreciate it.
